The beginning of Ikebana classes in Nihonbashi, Tokyo

I myself first encountered Ikebana and, through my daily practice,

I have become more aware of things and feel more at ease in my heart.

During the years of practice,

You can also learn the names of seasonal flowers and seasonal words that you didn't know before.

You can meet friends who enjoy learning flower arranging together.

Through flower arranging, I feel that my daily life is gradually becoming richer.

The joy and depth of Ikebana

This made me want to share this with more people.

When I tried to learn Ikebana,

"It seems formal" "I don't know how to get started"

I have experienced this confusion myself, and I heard it a lot when I started my own classes.

Furthermore, we often hear people say that they don't have time in their busy days.

That's why we're located in Nihonbashi, the heart of Tokyo, in a city with easy access.

Feel the tradition and culture while enjoying more freedom.

I wanted to open a class where people could casually encounter Ikebana, so I decided to start a class.

The meaning behind the name "Oraqua"

What image do you have of the word "generous"?

Accepting things naturally with an open mind

Some of you may imagine such a peaceful state of mind.

To me, "generosity" means

Quietly facing things that cannot be helped,

It feels like a flexible strength that allows you to move forward while accepting change.

This also applies to the appearance of plants.

Changing shape in the flow of nature,

It blooms as it is, towards the light.

Its appearance teaches us calmness and unyielding strength.

Adding flowers to generosity

The vividness of my image comes to life in the spacious space.

It's like a flower of individuality that I didn't even know I had bloomed.

It was from this feeling that the name "Oraqua" was born.

What is Ikebana and Flower Arranging?

Ikebana and flower arranging are traditional Japanese arts that use flowers and plants to create spaces that combine the beauty of nature with human sensibility.

Furthermore, during the quiet time spent facing plants, you can become aware of your own inner thoughts and emotions.

This inner dialogue is one of the great attractions of Ikebana.

I want to try a new hobby or learn something new. I want to enjoy Japanese culture.

In Tokyo, where time passes quickly,

In the midst of a busy work schedule, "I want to refresh myself a bit"

Flower arranging is perfect for such occasions.

Pick up a flower or plant and arrange it into a shape. In this time, you can forget about your everyday roles, come face to face with your true self, and relax.

We cherish these moments and thoughts as we run our classes.

Learning at the Oraqua Arranging Class

When you hear the word "ikebana," many people think of

You may have the image of it as a traditional Japanese culture that is quietly performed in a Japanese-style room.

However, at the flower arrangement class "Oraqua",

We propose a modern and free style of ikebana that goes one step beyond that image.

Nihonbashi, Tokyo.
In this town where history and culture live on, "Oraqua"

It is held in a studio gallery renovated by an architectural design firm.

Rather than a traditional Japanese-style room, this is a modern and sophisticated studio that makes use of light and space.

Regardless of age, gender, or nationality,

In this space, various people share a moment of ikebana experience through flowers.

Time to step away from your everyday duties and face yourself.
By coming into contact with plants and feeling the passage of the seasons, your sensibilities will be sharpened and your life will become richer and more orderly.

Oura Hana hopes to be a place that can provide such a "generous moment."

Please feel free to come whether you are a first timer or an experienced person.
Let's spend some fun time together, enjoying the flowers.
