In the rush of everyday work life, we all have moments when we think:
“I just need a pause.”
Imagine stopping by a quiet studio on your way home —
spending an hour arranging flowers, feeling your mind gently unwind.
At Oraqua, Ikebana is not only an art to learn — it’s a lifestyle activity that brings calm and creativity into your daily routine.
We see Ikebana as a modern form of mindful living — a hobby that helps you reconnect with your senses while staying true to Japanese aesthetics.
Because it’s a hobby-class you can continue, Oraqua is designed to fit easily into your schedule — even after work.
As you pick up branches, shape your composition, and feel the natural rhythm of each stem, your breathing slows, your shoulders relax, and you rediscover balance.
That quiet, intentional moment — is the heart of what we share here.
Accessibility and Comfort — A Studio Designed for Busy People

Oraqua is located in Nihonbashi / Bakurocho, central in Tokyo.
It’s easily accessible from multiple train lines:
JR Bakurocho Station — 2 min walk
Toei Shinjuku Line Bakuroyokoyama Station — 2 min walk
Toei Asakusa Line Higashi-Nihonbashi Station — 3 min walk
JR Asakusabashi Station — 6 min walk
Just steps away from the station, it’s the perfect after-work stop before heading home.
The studio is calm and minimal — designed with soft light, natural textures, and quiet spacing (Ma).
It’s a place where you can focus, relax, and create without distractions.
Opening Hours:
Weekdays: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Weekends & Holidays: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Whether you come after work or on a weekend afternoon, you’ll find a space where time moves a little slower.
No Experience or Tools Needed — Just Bring Yourself

If you’re new to Ikebana, don’t worry — you can start completely empty-handed.
Oraqua provides all necessary tools: scissors, kenzan (needle holder), vases, and fresh seasonal materials.
You can begin with a trial lesson and continue into the beginner’s course, where you’ll learn the fundamentals step by step.
At Oraqua, we teach both Free Style (Jiyūka) and Classical Style (Kotenka) Ikebana, following the curriculum of the Ryusei School (Ryusei-ha) — a lineage with more than 140 years of history.
Even complete beginners can feel comfortable and confident.
Each class features new flowers — changing with the seasons, colors, and textures — so you can always look forward to what’s next.
“It’s like meeting a different personality every week — through flowers.”
After-Work Lessons and Flexible Times

Oraqua offers evening classes designed for busy professionals.
Typical sessions begin around 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM, making it possible to attend right after work.
We intentionally keep the schedule relaxed — late enough to be convenient, but early enough to keep your evening peaceful.
Classes are small-group to ensure personal guidance.
Each participant can move at their own pace, learning both the technical and emotional aspects of Ikebana.
