Our online ikebana lessons are open to everyone, from complete beginners to those who wish to continue studying ikebana or work toward an official qualification.
Wherever you are in the world, you can continue learning ikebana online just as you would at our studio in Tokyo.
The main difference is simple:
You prepare your own flowers and plant materials locally.
Using seasonal flowers, branches, and plants available in your country or region, you will learn how to observe, arrange, and express the beauty of plants through ikebana.
Create Authentic
Ikebana at Home
With guidance from your instructor, you will create your own ikebana arrangement and enjoy it as part of your living space.
Students can also study according to the official Ryusei-ha Ikebana curriculum.
By continuing your studies, you can progress through the curriculum and work toward receiving an Ikebana Artist Name (Kago) and official ikebana qualifications.
Private Online Ikebana Lessons with a Tokyo Instructor

Lessons are conducted privately or in small groups via Google Meet.
Each lesson lasts approximately 60–90 minutes.
You can continue learning at your own pace with two or three lessons per month.

Through Hands-On Practice
Before each lesson, please prepare your flowers, branches, vase, kenzan, ikebana scissors, and other necessary materials.
We will provide recommendations for suitable plant materials before your lesson.
During the online lesson, you will arrange the flowers yourself while receiving live instruction and feedback from your instructor in Tokyo.

Prepare your flowers and tools before the lesson and position your camera so that your hands and the entire arrangement can be clearly seen.
Join the lesson through Google Meet.
▶ Individual Feedback
The instructor will provide advice and corrections while you are arranging whenever necessary.
After your arrangement is complete, you will receive individual critique and feedback.
▶ Curriculum & Demonstration
Before you begin arranging, we will explain the key points of the lesson based on the curriculum.
The instructor will also provide a short demonstration when necessary.
▶ Enjoy Your Finished Ikebana
After the lesson, enjoy your completed ikebana arrangement in your own home.
Even from outside Japan, you can experience the process of creating authentic Japanese ikebana yourself.

Create your arrangement using seasonal flowers and plant materials available in your own country or region.
You will work independently while receiving guidance throughout the process.

Online students can continue their ikebana practice directly with us during their stay in Japan.
Exhibition
Members can receive information about ikebana exhibitions in Japan.
We can also support opportunities for students to exhibit their work after obtaining Professor certification.
