About Studio

You do not need any experience to join our Ikebana class in Tokyo.

All materials and tools are prepared, so you can come empty-handed.

 

By working with seasonal branches and flowers,

you will learn the basics of traditional Japanese flower arrangement (Ikebana) in a simple and approachable way.

 

Ikebana is more than arranging flowers. It teaches how shape, space, and balance create beauty.

 

The instructor teaches the foundations of ikebana and received 1st place in the Freestyle Division at the All Japan Ikebana Competition.

This ikebana experience introduces a traditional Japanese art that visitors can easily try during their stay in Japan.

At our studio in Nihonbashi, you can join an authentic ikebana experience in Tokyo during your visit to Japan.

 

We offer Ikebana workshops and English-guided lessons designed for first-time participants.

You can join alone, with a partner, with friends, as a small group, or together with family and children.

 

It is an easy cultural activity to add to your travel schedule, and you will create your own arrangement to take home or photograph as a memory of Japan.

 

Each arrangement naturally becomes different.

Through the process, you may discover your own sense of form and creativity while experiencing Japanese culture firsthand.

Born in Sapporo, Hokkaido in 1991.

The work explores the boundary between natural and artificial objects, in places where nature and the city intersect.

 

Through this interest in beauty, the artist began practicing flower arrangement.

 

The artist also has a background in photography, sculpture, fashion, and other forms of visual expression.

Through ikebana, a wide range of visual expressions is developed and presented.
